Our head florist and director Wendy has made a foray into window dressing working with ethical clothing designer Snow at her lovely Bath boutique, Bibico. Snow works collaboratively with Fair Trade producers employing women from disadvantaged backgrounds, creating high quality garments made from natural materials.
Fitting then, that she approached Wendy to create Bibico’s Christmas window display using flowers grown and dried by our Natureworks trainees here at Organic Blooms. Dried flower-filled wooden troughs form the centrepiece, with a backdrop of snow-like dried flowers and seed heads tumbling from a suspended branch, with twinkling fairy lights running through both. Wendy also made up buttonholes of dried flowers for each outfit displayed in the window.
