Flower bar at our open day Celebrating our season with you at our annual open day is always a high point of our year. This year’s event, held on 10th September to coincide with Flowers From The Farm’s Flower Farmers’ Big Weekend, was no exception.

The weather was beautiful, bar one short but torrential shower, and getting on for 150 people came through our gates to explore our cutting field and polytunnels, experience one of Jo’s legendary tours, buy flowers, plants and other treats from our pop up shop and flower bar, and relax with a cuppa and a generous slice of the most delicious cake.

Thank you so much to all of you who came along. We loved meeting lots of new people as well as seeing many familiar faces. To our regular customers who come along year after year, thank you for your loyalty, it means a huge amount to us. To those of you who found us for the first time at our open day this year, thank you so much, as you may have noticed we love talking to people about what we do! We hope that you will join the ranks of our regulars and we look forward to seeing you again.

Kayleigh and Mish serving refreshments A particular joy for us was seeing our trainees volunteering to help out on the day – on the entrance desk, in the shop and serving refreshments – or bringing their families and friends along to show them what they do here. It’s truly rewarding to see the pride that our team has in their work and Organic Blooms.
