BBC Country File came along to film at Organic Blooms earlier this summer for a special hour long programme all about British flowers. Four of our trainees – Joseph, Toby, Ally & Mish – featured in it along with Jo, and several other trainees took part in filming background shots.

The programme showed the wide range of farming practices within the British flower industry and we were delighted to be representing both certified organic flowers and the flower farmers – many of whom are, like us, first generation growers – who make up the Flowers From The Farm membership.

Thank you for all your support and lovely comments, our trainees demonstrated how professional they are and had a wonderful time filming – the day was filled with excitement. The lovely BBC Country File production team even gave Toby the opportunity to try his hand at directing! If you haven’t had a chance to watch it, it’s available now on the BBC player.
