Following on from the incredible support we received for our crowdfunding campaign, we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to enter the 2018 Virgin Media Business VOOM awards.
At the risk of being annoying, we’d love you to vote for us!
We’ve entered our pitch and if we reach the finals we will have a chance to compete for up to £20,000 in funding. We’re already able to expand into our new field thanks to the amazing generosity of all of you who funded our crowdfunding – an additional award from VOOM would fund some of our other essential activities to support our trainees and our growth.
Voting is open; to reach the semi finals we need to be near the top of the leader board when voting closes on Tuesday 15th May. To give us the best chance of getting there we’d be so grateful if you would vote for us and forward the link on to two or three like-minded friends who might vote for us too.
If we make the semi-finals, our entry will be scrutinised by a panel of judges including Innocent founder Richard Reed, founder of natural skincare company TropicSkincare Susie Ma and Paralympics presenter and business woman Sophie Morgan as well as Virgin Media Business MD Peter Kelly. If we gain their approval we could be put forward to pitch to Richard Branson! It’s a nerve-wracking but exciting prospect.
With our expansion plans, award entries and our trainees and staff team potting on and planting out at full pelt in the polytunnels and fields, 2018 is turning out to be busier than ever for Organic Blooms. With RHS Chelsea flower show just around the corner it will soon be busier still, more of which next week…
