Christmas Workshops at Acton Court

Christmas Workshops at Acton Court

After the success of last five years’ workshops, we are pleased to offer a weekend of Workshops at this very special venue again this year.

Step back in time with us, get away from the stresses of a modern Christmas, and focus on one of the more simple joys of Christmas preparations – dressing the home with a beautiful, natural Christmas wreath that you have created.

All our workshops are half day events with materials and refreshments provided.

Friday 4th, Saturday 5th or Sunday 6th of December 10.00am to 12:30pm or 1.30pm to 4pm – Christmas Wreath Workshop

This is our most popular workshops, and everyone is amazed and delighted with what they create. You will receive step by step guidance on how to make a beautiful, natural Christmas wreath on a mossed base.  You will be provided with a range of evergreen foliages, cones, berries, fruits, spices and ribbons to create a unique door wreath that you will be proud to display throughout the festive season!

If we need to cancel the workshops due to a change in Covid-19 guidelines, we will be happy to offer a full refund or alternatively, we will have Wreath Kits and instructions available for you to follow at home and a video link if needed

Christmas workshops at Acton Court are back!

This is our 5th year of having the great privilege of running our Christmas workshops at Acton Court – the perfect venue for escaping from the commercialism of the modern Christmas.

What could set the scene more for Christmas than a medieval manor house with open log fires (we will try to order a dusting of snow!).

During these workshops you will be guided step by step in making a beautiful, decorated wreath from start to finish.

This year, we have put great thought into how to make our workshops Covid-safe .  We will be taking fewer people per workshop to ensure safe distancing and will be providing all materials at each station so that people will not have to brush past other attendees whilst gathering their materials.  All tools will be sanitised before and after and refreshments will be wrapped individually. We will also be operating across both of Acton Courts beautiful rooms, giving us plenty of space, and allowing us to use different entrances and exits.  We will be using a non-contact forehead thermometer to test attendees on arrival.

If we are unable to run the workshops, or you are unable to attend due to the need to isolate, we can provide all the materials to your doorstep in a kit form (including the all-important mulled wine and mince pie!) and could deliver via a live zoom link or video.  Alternatively we can post a fully made wreath out to you.  Hopefully, though, we will still be able to run the sessions in person, which is what we love best!

Visit our courses and workshops page to see what else we offer through the year.
